An Enthralling Thermal Imager
As this pandemic continues, it has become New Normal for people to have their body temperature measured in all public places. When taking body temperature, people only need to know whether the body temperature is average or not. The exact value of the temperature is less critical. Therefore, we created lumi which brings an elegant experience to the users while taking the temperature.

Interaction Design
Nowadays, when people enter all public places, they have to take the temperature to check whether they are healthy. We notice that this daily behavior could be added more interactive and sentient. It will be interesting to interact with the thermometer intriguingly rather than just pass through it straightforwardly.
Thermal Imagers Spring Up
Under the epidemic's impact, thermal imagers have become a piece of necessary equipment at the entrances of various establishments. However, the existing thermal imagers are not compatible with any of interior design of these places.
The Actual Temperature Value
When taking temperature, people only need to know whether the body temperature is over 37.5 °C or not. In fact, the actual temperature value is less critical for us. Only security and medical personnel need to know the actual temperature value.
Prototype
Inspired by this observation, we came up with the idea that builds up an intriguing interaction through the thermal imager. To create a new interaction of temperature measurement, we conducted several prototypes to test which is the most enthralling and holistic way to represent the interpreted temperature.
